A Slice of Heaven in May

Bountiful Bluebells from April

usher in the threshold of May

Clear water creeks foster flora and fauna

along the way

The unfailing excitation

Another wave of new creation

Sun drenched yellows

the lushest of greens 

Mother of May

having her day

A new heaven on Earth

or to quote Wendell Barry, "Heaven is below our feet"
