May It Be

  Almost all of the movies about the future show a world going bad. Mad Max on steroids! The world is a wasteland with greatly depleted resources. Death and suffering graphicly displayed! Barraged by so many dark themes, i t's easy to feel demoralized. Moreover, this kind of vision can become a dangerous repetition, perhaps even self-fulfilling. Amidst all of the dystopian stories, maybe we're neglecting to tell our stories of a brighter vision.  A brighter future that we visualize, to actualize, to ultimately real-ize together. Yes, we have already done great damage to our planet, but our best science is showing us that it's not too late. We can still heal our planet. We have the knowledge, we have the tools.  This can be OUR Story... During "Earth Week," I will celebrate stories of promise and success. Science and people  taking action right now! Rewilding  - A progressive conservation movement to increase biodiversity and restore the natural processes of an eco
